Purple Routes is the leading provider of open access play across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. We promote the Child’s right to play and develop opportunities to support access to play.The 4 year project was funded with £999,327 from the £13 million ‘Child’s Play strand on the BIG Lottery Fund’s £20 million Healthy Families programme. The project is led by CAVS working in partnership with PAVS, Carmarthenshire County Council, Pembrokeshire County Council. We have managed to continue the project since September when the Lottery funding came to an end although we are providing a limited service currently. The sessions take place in their parks and open spaces. Children are free to come and go, as it is not a childcare facility.nnLimited sessions are being provided currently.
