The Purple Routes Play Project is a BIG Lottery funded project to provide free open access play for children and young people in both Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.
The project was funded with £999,327 from the £13 million ‘Child’s Play’ strand of the Big Lottery Fund’s £20 million Healthy Families programme. The money is being used to encourage more children to enjoy outdoor activities and to develop new play opportunities for children across the area.
The project is led by CAVS working in partnership with PAVS, Carmarthenshire County Council, Pembrokeshire County Council and Play Routes Play Association. Children and young people’s play will be supported in 12 communties across the two counties:

Carmarthenshire:
Burry Port Carmarthen Felinfoel Glanymor and Tyisha Llandovery Newcastle Emlyn Pantyffynnon Bigyn
